We picked up this old chippy door at Second Chance Salvage in Baltimore. The chippier, the better! It’s a good idea to scrape and sand off any loose paint flakes and then clear coat with polycrylic. This will help maintain that great chippy look without the constant mess. Many old doors are painted with lead paint so be sure to wear a mask!
